THE SCANDAL OVER THE HEALTHCARE.GOV SITE IS NOT OVER

Healthcare.gov second year open enrollment was not a disaster. While there was a few hiccups in this open enrollment, which started on Nov. 15 there has been no reports of issues that accompanied the 2013 Obamacare open enrollment. The first launch revealed severe problems with government contracting.

A year later, the troubles are not over. It is now time for what developers call postmortem, which means determining, what went wrong, how it went wrong, and how to prevent it from occurring again.

The website’s first launch was a disaster and had a smooth roll-out success rate of 0%, and has the government learned from this mistake or will the next project also sputter?

Without access to the site’s internals, the analysis of the site is inconclusive, but there are some telling clues, which not all of them are positive.
