Take Advantage Of The Open-Enrollment-Period To Avoid The ObamaCare Tax Penalty

We are rapidly passing through the three-month long Open-Enrollment-Period, (OEP), during which people can compare and select an ObamaCare Plan, for health coverage during 2016.  Open-Enrollment-Period is November 1, 2015 – January 31, 2016.

The Obama administration has recently announced that it will televise a national advertising campaign to counter-act the perception held by young workers and students with low incomes, that health-care insurance under the Affordable Care Act is non-affordable.  With images showing workers in department stores, restaurants, and other low wage service-related jobs, the television ads proclaim that most people who use the “HealthCare.gov” website to sign-up for an ObamaCare health plan can qualify for financial assistance in the form of tax credits, making coverage more obtainable.

Do not let the Open-Enrollment-Period pass you by without choosing an ObamaCare health plan for 2016, unless you are prepared to pay the ObamaCare tax-penalty of $695 per person or 2.5% of household income, whichever is greater.
