AFFORDABLE CARE ACT SET TO BEGIN IN NOVEMBER
The opportunity to select health care coverage from the federal marketplace is set to begin in November.
Insures say families should review all their options to ensure they receive the best deals.
Consumers may log onto www.healthcare.gov starting November 15th to start shopping for coverage during 2015.
This open enrollment period for healthcare.gov was established in 2013 under Obamacare is not just for first-time consumers.
Individuals will need to enroll by December 15 if he or she wants their new coverage to begin on January 1, 2015. Polices, which provide insurance during 2014 will expire on December 31, 2014. The last day you can apply for insurance in 2015 is February 15.
Those who do not change their polices will automatically be re-enrolled into the policy they already carry.
