4 THINGS THE HEALTHCARE.GOV WEBSITE GOT RIGHT

When the healthcare.gov website launched last year it was meet with several issues. Since then officials worked nonstop to improve the website and make it ready for the second open enrollment period.

Nothing is prefect, but the Healthcare.gov website does get four things right.

  1. Responsive Design–25% of Americans who visited the old website did so by using their mobile devices, but the site could barely handle them. Now, the new website uses principles of responsive design to improve the mobile experience.
  2. Transparency–Meaning users are now able to see visual cues, which confirm they have entered their data such as zip code correctly
  3. More Efficient Navigation-The site has added different tab so users can locate the proper information easier such as small businesses and individuals
  4. Informative signposts–The site now shows how far you are to your destination to enrolling into health care coverage
