AFFORDABLE CARE ACT WEBSITE MORE STEADY

Second enrollment period for health care coverage under the Affordable Care Act is reporting fewer glitches, and it is less-cumbersome, simpler to navigate.

Residents across several states are now facing a smoother, less-cumbersome process but consumers have a shorter window to sign up for coverage under the new federal care law also called Obamacare.

The second enrollment period, which started Nov. 15 and will end on Feb. 15, 2015. So far, consumers have not reported any glitches, crashes, and screen freezes that marred the first open enrollment for Healthcare.gov in 2013. According to enrollment counselors and local outreach coordinators.
