U.S. GOVERNMENT TO ATTACK HEALTHCARE.GOV TO MAKE SURE IT IS SAFE

Before the second enrollment period, for Affordable Care Act starts on Nov. 15th, the government will be launching cyberattacks against the improved site to make sure the security holes and crippling bugs do not occur again.

An officials for the Healthcare.gov, said a group of white-hat hackers will be conducting weekly attacks on the website, which simulate real hacking attempts, in order to find weak points and bolster its defenses.

Issues in the first health care website exposed earlier this year revealed that a security researcher reportedly obtained 70,000 medical records by doing a Goggle search.

The Government will be launching weekly attacks on the HealthCare.gov website to test for weaknesses to get it ready for the Nov. 15th open enrollment period.
