The percentage of Americans without healthcare coverage in the United States has reached record lows as Obamacare programs continue enrolling new customers. According to data released on Jan. 7 by Gallup, during the last quarter of 2014, an average of 12.9% of Americans lacked coverage. Obamacare sign-ups hits 2.5 million

Demand for Obamacare coverage strongly accelerated in the days leading up to the Dec. 15 deadline, which the HealthCare.gov website saw more than 1 million Americans enrolling in one week and signs point to more enrollees are on their way.
