SHOPPING FOR 2015 HEALTH INSURANCE

Americans will have until December 15th to enroll in health care coverage, which will go into effect January 1, 2015. Open enrollment under Obamacare being Nov. 15th and will end Feb. 15. 2015.

There are about 32 million people in the U.S. who are uninsured, 24% fewer than before Obamacare, with about 15 million consumers eligible to purchase coverage on the healthcare.gov website.

The goal is to enroll more than 9 million Americans. December 15 is the deadline for updating profiles for the consumers who are already enrolled; or you may face higher premiums and additional monthly fees.

Enrollment on the healthcare.gov website will run until Feb. 15, 2015 in which health care coverage will be effective in March, 2015.
