OBAMACARE OPEN ENROLLMENT LOWER IN ITS SECOND WEEK
More than 300,00 Americans have selected health care coverage through Obamacare in their second week of open enrollment under the Affordable Care Act, this is about 162,000 fewer consumers than its first week.
More than half about 52% of Healthcare.gov Americans were renewing his or her coverage from 2014, which indicates people may have heeded industry advise to shop for better deals.
Human and Health Services also relayed that more than 5.4 million Americans accessed HealthCare.gov from November 15 through November 28, and almost 1.6 million Americans called for help. The U.S. government did not say how many consumers are eligible for premiums and cost-sharing subsidies.
Open enrollment will end Feb. 15. Consumers must signup for coverage by December 15th for their coverage to being on Jan. 1, 2015.
