IMPORTANT HEALTH INSURANCE DEADLINE LOOMS

Uninsured Americans who are shopping on the healthcare.gov website will face a deadline in order for their coverage to kick in at the start of 2015. There is only one more week to enroll.

While the Healthcare.gov website, also called Obamacare, will remain open until Feb. 15th, 2015, any consumer wanting health insurance to begin in 2015 must be enrolled into a plan by Dec. 15th, 2015.

Health coverage plans purchased on the healthcare.gov website is provide by private companies however; it is subsidized by the federal government in order to decrease the monthly premium rates. Anyone who bought a plan on the healthcare.gov website last year must return to the site to check their plans and re-enroll for 2015.
