HEALTHCARE.GOV BREACH NOT MALICIOUS?
Life in the digital age has provided people with many conveniences, such as paying for purchases with debit and credit cards, digital smartphones and wallets. This is possible because we as consumers trust vendors to protect our sensitive financial information.
When breaches occur, vendors do understand that their customer loyalty and reputations are at stake. These vendors will take every incentive in order to provide assistance to customers in rectifying and monitoring all nefarious uses of personal information. However the HealthCare.gov website has taken the opposite approach in the cases in which person information could have been released on their website.
Many are hesitant to to use the website due to all the issues the site had last year. However, the Obama administration ensures Americans that the website is secure and ready for the upcoming open enrollment period.
