CONSUMER OUTREACH FOR HEALTHCARE.GOV ENROLLEES

The CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) have started mailing millions of renewal notices to the enrollees who purchased health insurance through HealthCare.gov, they said they are focusing attention on the approaching Affordable Care Act enrollment period, which will present new challenges. The notices will vary according to individual circumstances, but will generally inform policyholders how he or she can renew coverage and will describe situations, which will require them update their person information on the HealthCare.gov website. For example, changes in address, income, and household size. Consumers will also have access to employer-sponsored coverage, which also needs updated. HealthCare.gov open enrollment will begin on November 15, 2014 and will end on February 15, 2015.
